Setting up your E-Card

These instructions will guide you through the process of setting up your e-card in the Paragon MLS. An e-card can label every e-mail you send out of the MLS to your clients and customers.

  1. Log into the Paragon MLS

  2. Once in click Preferences then User

  3. Click the E-Card button, it will open the e-card edit screen. (You may be prompt to install some small software for this to work, if so, install it).

  4. Click in the box and type in your information that you would want a customer to see at the bottom of your e-mail message. I suggest your put all of your business information. (See my example)

You can edit the text like most Microsoft software. Make some text bold, change color, etc.

  5. If you want to add your photo, click the insert image icon, it's just above the font size option. (If you do not want to add a photo, skip to number 12).

  6. A box will pop up. In the box, click the User folder.

If you already have photos uploaded, you will see them in the Name box. If not you will have to upload the photo.

  7. Click the Upload option (it's the third button on top).

  8. Click the Browse button and find the image on your hard drive that you want to use. WARNING!!! Make sure you do not upload a large image. The file size should not be larger than 25 KB's. If you do not understand what I just wrote, do not upload a image to use, it may cause your customers to have problems with the e-mails you send them.

This example shows my photo file size at 6.23 KB. That is a lot smaller than 25 KB.

  9. Once you have found the photo you want to use, double click it, (or click it once and click the open button ).

  10. Click the OK button. The picture will pop into your e-card edit box.

WARNING!!! If the picture is to big, delete it and find a small one. If the picture is big it will take a long time for people to download and view your e-mails. They will not like you, I promise.

  11. Once the picture is there, you can click on it once, then drag it where you want it to be. You can also resize it if it's a little to big. To resize it, click on the corner of it and move it in to make the picture smaller. It is best to upload a picture that is already the size you need.

You may have to play around with it a little while. Don't play to long, you're suppose to be working and making money.

  12. Once the card is the way you want it to show in the bottom of your e-mail messages, click the Use E-Card check box.

  13. Then click the Save link.

  14. Once it is saved you will see a small pop-up box that tells you it saved properly.

  15. Click OK.

End of instructions.
