Microsoft FrontPage - Adding and Removing Listings
These instructions are designed for real estate agents that have a
website that has a "Featured Listing" page with links to their
listings on-line, usually linked to realtor.com. You will need to be
connected to the internet and have Microsoft FrontPage installed on your
computer.
- Go to your site on the web.
- Go to your "View Listings" page.
- Click on the REALTOR / MLS logo (your featured listings page will
open in a new browser window).
- Once your listing page opens click each link and make notes of which
listings need to be removed.
- Click on the Edit with Microsoft FrontPage
(or go File, Edit with Microsoft FrontPage).
- Enter your user name and password and click OK.

Front page will open with the featured listing page open.
- WARNING: Do
Not Delete all of your table rows. If you do, it will be difficult to
add more listings. It's best to add listings before you remove the old
ones. To add a listing, determine where you want the new
listing to go (which row) and click on the row above it. Example, if
you want a listing to go below one priced at $150,000 click on that
row, in any box on that row.
- Then click "Table", "Insert",
"Rows or Columns...".

- The Insert Rows or Columns box will pop up. Leave "Rows"
selected and determine how many rows you want and click "OK".

You will then see your empty row.
- Make sure you have your folder list view to your left. If you don't
see files to the left, like below, click "View",
"Folder List" from the top menu.

- Click the + in front of your images folder. You will then see the
list of images in the images folder.
- Click and hold down the
image, then drag the button to your new empty table space.

When you let it go, it will appear in empty space.
- Click on the button to link it to your listing on REALTOR.com.
- Click the
button up top (or click Insert, Hyperlink from the top
menu). The Hyperlink box will pop up.
- Click the
Hyperlink search button.
- If a browser doesn't pop up over your window, click the flashing
button below and it will pop up over your FrontPage window.
- In your new browser window type in www.Realtor.com.
- Click on More Search Options just below the Beds box.

- On the next screen, enter the City, State, and go all the way to the
bottom of the page and enter the MLS number, then click
button.
- Realtor.com will find the property, when you see it, click the link
to show the full page listing details (the city link or photo of the
property).
- When you see the full page listing details, click the
button at the bottom of your computer screen. When you do that you
will see FrontPage with the Hyperlink box open with the link to your
listing.

- Click OK.
- Enter the property information in the other spaces (the spaces
behind the "Details" button.
- Click the Save
button to save your changes (you can also go File, Save
from the menu above).
- To add more listings, repeat numbers 8, 9, 12 - 23.
- To remove a listing, put your pointer just in front of the row you
want to delete, it will turn into a small black arrow, pointing
towards the row to be deleted.
- When you see the small black arrow, click where you are, it will
highlight (darken) that row.

- Then click Table, Delete Cells.

The row will disappear.
- Then click Save
again.
- When you have all changes made, make sure you save the page and
close FrontPage.
- Then go back to your website and check the changes to make sure you
did them properly. You may have to refresh your browser page to see
the new changes. To refresh the page you may have to right click on
the page and choose refresh from the popup menu.
